Preciosa Wire Heart Decoration

Instructions

Step 1

Gather your supplies

Firstly, we want to place all our beads into magic sorting trays so that they are easy to reach while making this piece.

Next you need to cut a roughly 30cm piece of 24 Gauge wire.

Step 2

Creating your heart

Find the middle point of your wire and bend it into a V shape. Bring the two ends pf your wire together to create the curve of the top of your heart but leaving around 8cm of slack. Twist the two end pieces then spiral them into a circle.

Step 3

Decorating your heart

Taking your 26 Gauge wire, snip of another 30cm piece, then wrap this tightly around the top of your heart three times. Thread a crystal bicone, blue zircon bicone, then another crystal bicone on your wire. Hold the beads along the inside of your heart, then wrap the wire another three times along the thicker wire to secure the beads in place.

Repeat this step until the entire inner side of your heart has been lined with beads.

Step 4

Finishing touches

Make sure to snip off any sharp pieces of wire left as well as bending the remaining twisted wire at the top of your heart into a small loop so that the heart can be displayed.
