Gold Plated Eyepins
This gold plated eyepin is used to connect beads together in necklaces, bracelets, and other jewellery pieces. It is a thin metal wire with a loop on one end and a straight pin on the other. The loop is used to attach the eyepin to a jump ring or other jewellery component, while the straight pin is used to slide beads onto the eyepin. Once the beads are in place, the straight pin is bent at a 90-degree angle, and the excess wire is cut off. The remaining wire is then shaped into another loop, creating a beaded link that can be connected to other links to create a chain of beads.
As this eyepin is made of Plated metal, where a fine layer of gold has been bonded onto the brass base metal, over time and with excess use this layer may eventually wear away. All our plated metal findings are compliant with EU REACH regulations.
