Ear wires are a common component in jewellery making, and are designed to attach to a bead or pendant as a way of creating earrings. These gold plated Fishhook ear wires measuring 20mm in length have a curved wire that loops through the earlobe and hangs down in a "fishhook" shape, providing a simple and elegant look for your earrings.
To use the Fishhook ear wires, simply open the loop end of the ear wire using pliers to thread your bead or finding, and then secure in place by bending the loop back to its original position. As these Earwires are made of Plated metal, where a fine layer of gold has been bonded onto the brass base metal, over time and with excess use this layer may eventually wear away.
