Swarovski hotfix crystals Round (2000 Rose, 2038 Xilion & 2078 Xirius) in Sapphire AB are flat back crystals where the reverse side of the crystal has been pre-coated with a heat-sensitive glue. Sapphire AB is a deep and rich shade of blue that is named after the precious gemstone of the same name. It is a cool and calming colour that is associated with wisdom, truth, and loyalty. Sapphire AB has a sophisticated and elegant quality that makes it a popular choice in fashion, beauty, and interior design. Sapphire AB is often used to create a sense of calm and tranquility, or to add a touch of sophistication and luxury to a design. Overall, Sapphire AB is a timeless and versatile colour that can evoke a wide range of emotions and moods, depending on how it is used. The AB (Aurora Borealis) effect is an iridescent coating that covers the top of the crystal, making it shimmer like a rainbow. The base colour of the crystal can still be seen underneath but there is a noticeable pink and blue shine to it as it hits the light.
Swarovski hotfix flat back crystals are available in three types of cut: 2000 Rose Cut with 8 facets (SS3 and SS4); 2038 Xilion Rose Cut with 14 facets which optimises the light reflection of smaller sized crystals (SS5 to SS10); and 2078 Xirius Rose Cut with 16 facets and a unique star cut design which provides the ultimate brilliance (SS12 to SS48).
