Instructions:
Step 1
Gather your supplies
Tip your flatback crystals into magic sorting tray so they are easily accessible. Make sure your wax picker pencil is sharp; this will make it easier to pick up your crystals. Prepare your E6000 glue by squeezing it into your syringe.
Step 2
Map out your flatbacks
For this embellishment we will be placing flatbacks on the sewn seam around the ankle of the boots. You will need to ensure the flatback is the correct size so that it covers most of the thread work.
Step 3
Placing your crystals
Place your glue around the ankle of the boot and leave it to get tacky for around ten minutes. This ensures the flatbacks wont slide around while you’re working. Try not to place too much glue as this will appear messy on the finished product.
Now you can place down all your flatbacks to your liking.
Step 4
Inspect and adjust
Once you have placed all your flatbacks down, take a good look at your work as you will want to adjust any crystals that need it now rather than later when the glue is dry.
Leave your work to dry for around twelve hours.
