Instructions
Step 1
Gather your supplies
Gather you supplies and begin by trimming your Brass wire using the Side cutter pliers from the set of 3, to the length needed. We trimmed off 30cm for each earring.
Step 2
Attaching the wire to the earrings
Start by wrapping the end of your wire onto the ear hole post and securing it tightly using the Chain Nose pliers from the Jewellery Set of 3 pliers. Once you have secured your wire on, start by wrapping onto the gold part of the earring that sits outside of the ear. Wrap 5mm onto this section.
Step 3
Begin wrapping your beads on
Begin by threading a Serinity Crystals 5000 Round Bead 4mm Opal White onto the brass wire and sliding it down to the base of the wire where your wrapping sits. Hold this in place on the outside of the hoop earring using your fingers between the thumb and index finger. Feel free to adapt a more comfortable position if needed. Continue wrapping your wire holding the bead in place and wrap once over the hoop.
Step 4
Adding more beads
Once your 4mm Round bead is securely wrapped around the hoop and you have wrapped again and back around, thread a 6mm Round Bead. Slide the bead to the base and repeat the above steps. Alternate between 4mm and 6mm beads until you have come to the end of your hoop earring.
Step 5
Secure the wire on
Once you have beaded your earrings, continue wrapping the brass wire tightly to the hoop for another 5mm. To secure the wire shut simply wrap around the base of the earring in the opposite direction looping through one strand of the wire to begin and end with. Trim off any left-over wire, and your revamped hoop earrings are ready to wear!
