How to make a pumpkin seed bead bracelet
Step 1: Gather your supplies
Tip each seed bead colour into its own sorting tray (you will want three). Measure your thread to about three times your wrist length, better too much than too little, then pass it through your beading needle.
Step 2: Choose your three colours
You need three colours: orange, green and purple. You can swap them for other shades, just keep track of which colour plays which role so your pumpkins stay consistent.
Step 3: Weave a pumpkin
Pick up three purple beads (the stem), then five orange. To make the first loop, pass the needle back through the first orange bead and pull through; you should have two beads resting on top and three along the bottom. Thread three more orange beads, then pass through the third bead on the bottom row to close the beads into a full circle. Following the circle anticlockwise, pass through the next bead to the left, add one green bead, then pass through the next orange bead along. Repeat that anticlockwise six times to fill in the green detail.
Step 4: Repeat along the bracelet
Make as many pumpkins as you need to fit your wrist, threading three purple beads between each one as spacers.
Step 5: Finish the bracelet
Once it is the right length, tie a loop knot at each end. Attach a jump ring to one end and a bolt ring clasp to the other, and your bracelet is ready to wear.
