What is a Swarovski Brand Control Agreement (BCA)? ▾
As part of the onboarding process with Swarovski, you will be asked to sign a Brand Control Agreement. The contract specifies that you are no longer allowed to use the 'Swarovski' brand name and trademark when advertising or selling your finished products / service.
How long does it take to be approved to purchase Swarovski Crystals? ▾
All applications are processed within 24 hours of submission and you will receive an email indicating if your application has been approved or if we require further information. If you are in a hurry to purchase Swarovski crystals and require immediate access, we can complete your onboarding and provide access the same day!
I have submitted my application, can I now order Swarovski Crystals? ▾
Unfortunately not. We can only provide you with access to purchase Swarovski Crystals once the Swarovski brand control agreement has been signed. If you require immediate access, there is a fast track option and further information will be provided, once your application has been reviewed.
Do I need to complete both online brand control agreement forms? ▾
No. You are only required to complete one Brand Control Agreement—either the online form sent by us via BoldSign or the online form sent by an email from Swarovski.
How will I know when I can start ordering Swarovski Crystal Components? ▾
You will receive a welcome email from us comfirming you have been fully approved. At this point your existing account is updated or a new account is created for you so that you can purchase Swarovski Crystals from our website.
When will I recieve my Swarovski Global Sourcing Key (GSK)? ▾
You don’t need your GSK number to purchase Swarovski crystals from our website — simply log in to your account, and we’ll take care of everything behind the scenes. Regarding your GSK number, please note that it can take some time for Swarovski’s internal onboarding process to be completed. You should receive an email directly from Swarovski, within 10 working days of your application being approved, and this email will contain your GSK number.
I don't have a business, can I still apply and buy Swarovski crystals? ▾
We are permitted to supply Swarovski crystals to brands, businesses and professionals that create a finished product or operate a service that incorporates Swarovski Crystals. So you can still apply to purchase Swarovski Crystals if you do not have a business. Complete all of the mandatory fields on the application form and for the Business /Professional Name field, you can enter your full name instead of a business name.
I already have a Global Sourcing Key (GSK), how can I buy from you? ▾
Simply complete the Application Form above and include the Global Sourcing Key (GSK) that was assigned to your business. If you do not know your GSK, your existing supplier can provide this to you.
Is there a minimum order quantity (MOQ) to purchase Swarovski Crystals? ▾
No, we do not operate a minimum order requirement to purchase any of our brands of crystals, including Swarovski. You can order as few or as many Swarovski Crystals as required for your project.
Do I need to have a website or social media account to gain approval? ▾
Providing a website and / or social media account on your application is not mandatory and therefore your application will still be processed if these cannot be provided.
Can I sell my designs if they contain Swarovski Crystals? ▾
You are welcome to resell finished products that incorporate Swarovski crystals — for example, jewellery, accessories, clothing, or decorative items. Swarovski crystals can also be used as part of a service, such as nail art, tooth art, or other embellishment services.
The only restriction is that Swarovski crystals cannot be resold as loose components (for example, in original packaging, repackaged bags, or bulk form). Only official Swarovski Distribution Partners are authorized to sell Swarovski crystals as individual, loose crystals.
This means you can confidently create and sell your own Swarovski crystal designs or offer Swarovski crystal embellishment services, while maintaining compliance with Swarovski’s brand policies.
If I can't use the Swarovski name, how do I describe the crystals in my designs? ▾
Approved customers must not use the Swarovski name or logo to promote, advertise, or sell products — including on websites, social media, product packaging, or in-person marketing. You may, however, describe the crystals in alternative ways, such as:
- “Crystals from Austria”
- “Austrian Crystals”
- “Crystals from Bluestreak”
I see competitors advertising Swarovski crystals, how can they do this? ▾
The use of the Swarovski® name and branding in advertising is subject to strict trademark and brand usage guidelines. Only Authorised Distribution Partners and Ingredient Branding Partners are permitted to reference Swarovski® crystals in their marketing materials, and even then, only in accordance with Swarovski’s specific terms and conditions.
In some cases, competitors may advertise Swarovski® crystals without authorisation. This does not necessarily mean such use is permitted; rather, it may be unauthorised use that has not yet been addressed, or it may be that they purchased Swarovski crystals before the restrictions came info force and a Swarovski Brand Control Agreement has never been signed.
Either way, we would always advise our customers to follow the official brand usage guidelines. This protects your business from potential trademark or compliance issues.
Can I apply to be a Swarovski Ingredient Branding Partner? ▾
A Swarovski Ingredient Branding Partner is a business that has been formally approved to use Swarovski® crystals in its products and to reference the Swarovski® name and ingredient brand in marketing, packaging, and communications—strictly in line with Swarovski’s brand guidelines.
This partnership confirms that your products contain genuine Swarovski® crystals and allows you to communicate this to customers using approved terminology and, where permitted, official branding assets. The programme is designed to protect the integrity of the Swarovski® brand while providing partners with added credibility and consumer trust.
This program is available exclusively to businesses that meet the following criteria:
- Operate within the luxury brand and product segment
- Maintain a refined, high-quality website and professional social media presence
- Offer a product range with a premium price point (typically £200 and above)
- Do not conflict with Swarovski’s own product categories, including jewellery, eyewear, watches, and related items
