Each Serinity hotfix flatback is cut in Austria on the same equipment as the world's leading crystal brands. The reverse has platinum foiling to deepen colour and boost light refraction, plus a specially made heat-activated glue on the base for direct fabric application. Apply it with a hotfix wand, heat press or household iron (steam turned off) for a permanent, wash-resistant bond. The range covers sizes SS3 to SS48, spans three precision-cut designs and comes in over 150 colours, effects and finishes, all lead-free and EU REACH-compliant.

How Do You Apply Serinity Hotfix Crystals?

Serinity hotfix crystals have a heat-activated glue already on the foil backing. Three methods suit different production scales and settings. Choosing the right one before you start avoids uneven bonding and rework.

• Hotfix applicator wand — applies crystals individually with a heated tip for precise placement on detailed designs and smaller quantities. The most popular method for one-off, bespoke and sample embellishment work.

Hotfix vs Non Hotfix vs Sew-On: Which Should You Use?

Hotfix crystals are the fastest method for fabric and textile surfaces. They need no separate adhesive and give a strong, durable bond that stands up to cool-temperature washing. They are the standard choice for dancewear, performance costumes and garment embellishment, where speed, cleanliness and bond strength come first. Serinity non hotfix crystals, bonded with crystal adhesive, work on more surfaces. They stick to glass, metal, plastic, leather and other non-porous surfaces as well as fabric, which suits nail art, accessories and mixed-media work. Serinity sew-on crystals give the most permanent and durable hold of the three. You stitch them straight onto fabric through pre-drilled holes, for performance costumes and garments that face repeated physical stress.

Crystal Cuts Explained

• 8-facet rose cut — used in SS3 and SS4. A clean, classic cut ideal for fine detail work, micro-embellishment and nail art.
