Available in 14mm, 19mm and 27mm in retail packs of 1 and 2 and wholesale packs of 30 and 96. Two drilled holes hold the stone square to the fabric and stop it rotating under movement. These stones have no foil backing, so light passes through from both sides. That suits open-back settings and sheer fabrics where the reverse of the stone will be seen. Suited to Irish dance dresses, ballroom and Latin costume, ice skating dresses, bridal and any garment that will be laundered or take heavy wear.

About the Swarovski 3256 Galactic Sew-On Crystal

The Swarovski 3256 Galactic is an angular elongated stone with an asymmetric faceted crown, drilled for stitching. Its irregular cut breaks light unpredictably, giving a more contemporary finish than a symmetrical stone.

Sew-on stones are stitched through drilled holes rather than bonded with glue or heat. Stitching gives a permanent fixing that survives laundering, stretch and repeated wear, which is why sew-on stones are the standard choice for competition costume rather than a glued alternative.
