swarovski-1028-1088-chatons-jet
Swarovski Chatons Round Stones Jet (1028 & 1088)

Swarovski 1088 Xirius and 1028 Xilion chatons in Jet are genuine Austrian-made pointed back stones. Available from PP2 (0.95mm) to PP24 (3.1mm) in retail packs of 100 and wholesale packs of 1440. Jet is a deep opaque black with a clean flat finish that reads strongly against silver and white metals. A mirrored foil backing reflects light forward through the face of the stone, lifting the colour and giving a brighter return in a closed setting. Suited to bespoke jewellery, bridal accessories, watch faces, costume design and set embellishment.

About the Swarovski 1088 Xirius and 1028 Xilion Chaton

The Swarovski 1088 Xirius pairs a brilliant crown with a star-cut pavilion beneath. It is the round chaton most settings are made to fit, and Swarovski cuts it across a wider size range than any other, from small pave sizes up to large focal stones.

The pointed back is what separates these from a flatback. Set into a cup or bezel, the metal sits behind the point and bounces light back up through the stone, so a set stone reads deeper and brighter than a flatback of the same diameter.

Match the setting to the stone size before ordering, since the point needs the correct depth to seat properly.
