silver-plated-crimps-covers
Silver Plated Crimps Covers

These silver plated crimp covers are used to secure beading wire and thread without knotting. Available in 3mm and 4mm, supplied in packs of 50. A silver plating over a base metal gives the look of sterling silver at a fraction of the cost, which suits occasional wear and costume pieces rather than everyday jewellery. Plating is a surface layer, so keep it away from abrasives and perfume. Suited to finishing strung necklaces and bracelets on beading wire.

About Crimps Covers

A crimp is flattened with crimping pliers to grip the wire, which holds far better than a knot on nylon-coated beading wire. A crimp cover then closes over the flattened crimp and reads as a small round bead, hiding the join.

Supplied by Bluestreak Crystals

All our plated metal findings comply with EU REACH regulations.
