serinity-1028-1088-chatons-aquamarine
Serinity Chatons Round Stones Aquamarine (1028 & 1088)

Serinity 1028 and 1088 chatons in Aquamarine are Austrian-made pointed back stones. Available in PP2 (0.95mm) to SS39 (8.3mm) in wholesale packs of 144, 288, 720 and 1440. Aquamarine is a pale blue-green with a cool clarity reminiscent of shallow tropical water. A mirrored foil backing reflects light forward through the face of the stone, lifting the colour and giving a brighter return in a closed setting. Suited to bespoke jewellery, bridal accessories, watch faces, costume design and set embellishment.

About the Serinity 1028 and 1088 Round Chaton

The round chaton is the classic setting stone and the shape most metal findings are made to fit. Serinity cuts it in two articles: article 1028 for the smaller sizes and article 1088 for the larger, where the extra facets have enough surface to work with.

The pointed back is what separates these from a flatback. Set into a cup or bezel, the metal sits behind the point and bounces light back up through the stone, so a set stone reads deeper and brighter than a flatback of the same diameter.

Match the setting to the stone size before ordering, since the point needs the correct depth to seat properly.
