preciosa-pearls-elliptic-dark-blue
Preciosa Pearls Elliptic Dark Blue

Preciosa Elliptic pearls in Dark Blue are genuine Czech-made fully drilled pearls with a crystal core and a coated pearl surface. Available in 11mm and 16mm in retail packs of 6 and 10 and wholesale packs of 35. The hole runs all the way through, so these pearls thread onto wire or beading thread for stringing, knotting and beadweaving. Dark Blue is a deep navy with a rich even lustre. Suited to bridal jewellery, beadweaving, strung necklaces and beaded embroidery.

About Preciosa Nacre Pearls

The Preciosa Elliptic pearl is an elongated oval with a smooth even coating, giving more presence along a strand than a round of the same width and a softer profile than a faceted bead.

Preciosa Nacre Pearls are built on a solid crystal core rather than glass or plastic, then finished with a coated pearl surface. The crystal core gives them the weight of a real pearl in the hand, and the coating is formulated to resist perfume, sweat and cosmetics, so the colour holds where a conventional pearl coating would dull or flake.

Match your beading thread or wire to the hole size, and use a beading needle for knotted and woven work. On longer strands, knotting between pearls means a single break will not scatter the whole necklace.

Genuine Preciosa, Supplied Direct

Preciosa has been making glass in Bohemia since 1548 and still makes every pearl in the Czech Republic.
