The patented Chaton Rose MAXIMA cut carries 15 facets from SS5 to SS20, rising to 18 facets on the larger SS30 to SS48 stones where the wider table takes the extra faceting. The facet geometry combines larger and smaller facets to return 264 distinct rays of light, and each size is cut to its own proportions so that the stones match each other in effect across the range. The round MAXIMA flatback runs from SS2 (1.2mm) up to SS48 (11mm).

Non hotfix stones are applied with adhesive rather than heat.
