preciosa-fancy-stones-pear-crystal-ab
Preciosa Fancy Stones Pear Crystal AB

Preciosa Pear fancy stones in Crystal AB are genuine Czech-made pointed back stones. Available in 6x3.6mm to 13x7.8mm in retail packs of 4, 6, 8 and 10 and wholesale packs of 144, 360 and 720. The Aurora Borealis coating adds a rainbow iridescent shimmer shifting between pink, blue and gold tones as the angle of light changes. A mirrored foil backing reflects light forward through the face of the stone, lifting the colour and giving a brighter return in a closed setting. Suited to bespoke jewellery, bridal accessories, watch faces, costume design and set embellishment.

About the Preciosa Pear Fancy Stone

The Preciosa Pear is a teardrop tapering from a rounded base to a point, so it reads directionally in a setting and suits drops, pendants and clustered focal arrangements.

The pointed back is what separates these from a flatback. Once the stone is set, the metal of the cup or bezel sits behind the point and reflects light back up through it, which is why a set stone reads deeper and brighter than a flatback of the same diameter.

Match the setting to the stone size before ordering, since the point needs the correct depth to seat properly.
