preciosa-cubic-zirconia-pear-diamond-cut-white
Preciosa Cubic Zirconia Pear Diamond Cut White UNFOILED

Preciosa Pear Diamond Cut cubic zirconia in White are genuine machine-cut stones with a pointed back and no foil backing. Available in 3x2mm to 8x6mm in wholesale packs of 40, 50, 70 and 100. White is the standard colourless grade, cut and polished to read as closely to a diamond as the material allows. Suited to fine jewellery, engagement and eternity rings, bridal pieces and any setting where a diamond substitute is wanted.

About the Preciosa Pear Diamond Cut Cubic Zirconia

The Pear Diamond Cut follows the facet proportions used for the equivalent diamond cut, so the stone returns light the same way in a setting.

This is cubic zirconia rather than crystal, developed in-house using diamond-cutting software. It sits close to a diamond on brilliance, fire and hardness, which is why it is used as a diamond substitute in fine jewellery rather than as a costume stone. Every stone is machine cut to the same tolerance, so stones of a given size match each other exactly.

Zirconia are pointed back and unfoiled, so they are set into a claw, bezel or cup setting rather than glued flat. Match the setting to the stone size before ordering, since a pointed back needs the correct depth to seat properly.

Genuine Preciosa, Supplied Direct

Preciosa has been making glass in Bohemia since 1548 and still cuts every stone in the Czech Republic.
