The double taper lets beads sit tight against each other on a strand without gapping, which is why the bicone is the most widely used crystal bead shape in jewellery making.

Match your beading thread or wire to the hole size, and use a beading needle for woven and off-loom work. On stretch designs, choose a thicker cord rather than a larger hole, since a loose bead will wear through the elastic over time.

Genuine Preciosa, Supplied Direct

Preciosa has been making glass in Bohemia since 1548 and still makes every bead in the Czech Republic.
