Preciosa Rivets SS18 in Gold are crystals that are encased in a metal setting which has a post at the back so that it can be attached to material such as leather or fabrics. The rivet consists of two pieces: the rivet which is a crystal in a metal casing and the back part. The rivet has a small metal post that is inserted into the base material and secures to the back part on the other side of the material. When the rivet is inserted through the base material it connects with the back part, to create a secure attachment.
Preciosa rivets are applied using either a handheld Crystal Applicator or a Fly Press and Rivet Die set. The correct die combination must be chosen accordingly and the recommended leather or fabric strengths followed.
