Gold Plated Split Rings

These 5.8mm gold plated Split Rings are a type of small metal ring with a slit cut into the side that allows it to open up slightly, similar to a miniature key ring. They are commonly used in jewellery making to attach charms or other small components to necklaces, bracelets, and keychains, as they are more secure than jump rings and less likely to come apart. The split in the ring can be opened with pliers or a split ring opener tool to attach other items, and then closed back up for a secure hold.
As these split rings are made of Plated metal, where a fine layer of gold has been bonded onto the brass base metal, over time and with excess use this layer may eventually wear away. All our plated metal findings are compliant with EU REACH regulations.
