Rhinestones were originally given their name for the rock crystals found at the bottom of the river Rhine that runs through six countries including Germany and France. The term has developed into a catch-all term for beautiful glass crystals. These are principally Swarovski’s rhinestones made in Austria. Our store at Bluestreak Crystals is jammed full of rhinestone crystals to choose from.
A vast range of colours is not the only way to customise your jewellery, clothing and costumes for lots of different uses. While most of our range consists of flat back crystals - perfect for applying to costumes – we also have hotfix rhinestones as well.
Hotfix rhinestones differ from non hotfix flat back crystals because they already have a glue attached to it. This means that by applying heat to the crystals back, it can attach to anything. With a plethora of colours available for both, you can truly customise your experience to your preferences.
Choose from different sizes of rhinestone crystal and how many you’d like to purchase; up to 1440 in our wholesale range. If you’re just starting off your adventure into applying crystals to your designs, then we have a hotfix crystal applicator. The cordless applicatior features an LED spotlight to accurately apply hotfix crystals.
